Cormorant Garamond

An open-source revival of Claude Garamond's 16th-century roman type, optimized for display use at large sizes.

Cormorant Garamond is Christian Thalmann's contemporary interpretation of Garamond, designed for display sizes where its high-contrast strokes and elegant italics shine. AI2 Design uses Cormorant Garamond italic for its own brand wordmark and headlines — a deliberate counterpoint to the developer-tool sans-serif convention. The family ships in multiple subfamilies (Regular, SemiBold, Bold) on Google Fonts.
