Edge-to-edge Layout

A layout that abandons the bounded container and lets content (or sections) span the full viewport width.

Edge-to-edge breaks the container rule for sections that earn full width: full-bleed hero images, dividers that mark chapter shifts, or photo grids that should breathe. Framer's projects gallery and Webflow's customer showcase both employ edge-to-edge moments. The trick is rhythm — alternate bounded and edge-to-edge so the page has heartbeat.
