Geist Easing

Vercel's signature `cubic-bezier(0.4, 0, 0.2, 1)` motion curve — a refined ease-out that anchors Next.js + Vercel interactions.

Geist easing is the unofficial name for `cubic-bezier(0.4, 0, 0.2, 1)`, Vercel's preferred timing function for hover, transitions, and small page motion. The curve is a standard Material Design ease-out variant, but its consistent application across Vercel docs, V0, and Geist UI makes it brand-defining. ToDesktop and other post-Vercel-cohort sites in the AI2 Design catalogue inherit this curve.
